International production company Park Pictures and award-winning feature film director Amy Rice (Versus, Snervous, By The People), showcases powerful motivational stories of female leaders running for Congress this November, in “Women Rising,” a call to vote by the Serve America PAC.
Bruce Springsteen granted permission to use his hit song "The Rising" in the spot background.
Before they chose to represent their states, candidates Elissa Slotkin, Chrissy Houlahan, Mikie Sherill, Amy McGrath, Elaine Luria, Abigail Spanberger, MJ Hegar and Gina Ortiz Jones served America, protected human rights and met milestones in various roles such as Air Force Captain, Commander, Federal Agent, Purple Heart designee, first woman to fly an F-18 in combat and more. In the gripping 1:18 spot, each woman enters the Agger Fish Building in NYC with confidence and steps up to the camera to tell her story, calling on viewers to “serve America” with their midterm election vote on November 6, 2018.
Director Amy Rice is no newcomer to the political genre, having helmed the Primetime Emmy Award-winning documentary By The People: The Election of Barack Obama, which aired on HBO.
